At NY International FC, football is just the beginning.

Yes, we want to win. We want to build a competitive club, grow our fanbase, and bring beautiful, attacking football to New York City. But our foundation runs deeper than goals and game plans.

From day one, NYIFC has been built on a set of values that go beyond the pitch: community, service, and the belief that football can be a force for good.

In a city as massive and layered as New York, it’s easy to get lost in the noise. But we believe in showing up. We believe in building relationships. And we believe that being part of a club means being part of something bigger than yourself.

That’s why we’ve partnered with EVLovesNYC, a nonprofit organization that cooks and distributes fresh meals to New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity. Their mission is simple: feed people with dignity. And they do it with a sense of urgency, joy, and love that mirrors the spirit we try to bring to our club every day.

A Natural Partnership

Players from NY International FC (Nick Platt, Michael Rowley and Hakon Mjell) joining forces with EV to distribute meals on a Sunday morning.

When we met the team at EVLovesNYC, it didn’t feel like a transaction, it felt like family. There was no need for buzzwords or branding decks. Just aligned values, mutual respect, and a shared desire to make an impact where we live and work.

Since then, our players, coaches, and staff have jumped in, not just financially, but physically. We’ve volunteered in their kitchens, helped package meals, and made deliveries across the five boroughs. We’ve chopped vegetables, washed trays, and packed hundreds of containers alongside people who care as deeply about this city as we do.

This isn’t community work for the sake of appearances. It’s community work because it’s in our DNA.

Football, the New York Way

Being a football club in New York comes with responsibilities. We don’t just represent a badge or a squad. We represent many cultures, a city, and the people who make it move.

That’s why our partnership with EVLovesNYC isn’t a side project. It’s central to our mission.

We’re proud to wear this crest. But we know that what we do off the field will define us just as much as what we do on it.

Four NYIFC teammates - Luke Simboli, Renato Agyemang, Nate Frizz, Jakub Gazi - driving from NYC to Montauk and raise funds for EVLovesNYC while wearing the training kit.

Through meal drives, collaborative events, and donations tied to our merchandise, we’re weaving this partnership into the fabric of our club. And we’re inviting our fans to be part of it. Because real impact doesn’t come only from the sidelines, it comes from stepping in.

A Club With Purpose

At NYIFC, we talk a lot about building something that lasts. That doesn’t just mean championships: it means legacy.

And if we can help build a future where football brings people together, where a match day experience includes the chance to serve, and where a club is known not just for how it plays but how it gives back…then we’re on the right track.

EVLovesNYC reminds us of what’s possible when passion meets purpose.

And we’re honored to stand beside them, one meal - and one match - at a time.
